heatherette&fafi*

hi girls, this is gonna be short and sweet!

one of my girlfriends and i went up to pa this weekend, and of course hit up the outlets. i picked up a pale pink bag from coach&then we went to the cco. i was tempted to buy a cremesheen, but it really wasn't the color i was looking for, so i passed on that and instead picked up "sock hop" lipglass from the heatherette collection and "hipness" blush from the fafi collection.
i still don't have pictures from easter, they're on my sisters camera, asap! i promise!

falsies *

hey ladiessss*

When I go out at night or on special occasions I love to play up my eyes, since my own lashes are so thin and straight. So this Easter I figured why not? duh,  i love love loveeeee falsies from MAC! Plus my boyfriends birthday was that Saturday, so we went to P.F. Changs in Princeton(wonderful food w/nice price*). The falsies* are so affordable ($12) a pair and you can get a lot of use from of them, depending on how you treat them =)

So I purchased lashes 32's and  34's...YES 34's are far more glamourous and more fun than the smaller 32's but I'll wear my 32's for filling in between gaps during the day and at night i can play them up with my 34's =) I recommend applying falsies* with DUO adhesive from MAC because it's best! (in black)

another mini-haul*

hey everyone!

About two weeks ago i picked up MAC's blot/pressed powder and the MUA gave me medium/dark, but when i used it it left a white sheen on my face, and let me tell you that i'm already pale enough and don't need any more help. So yesterday i went back and exchanged it for dark which is one shade darker. In person the blot powder looks a lot darker in the compact, but once its on my face it matches perfectly! I was thrilled, i was scared it was gonna be too dark. I love love love blot powder, i'm super oily and it really helps with setting my foundation and for midday touch ups!
And this past saturday my friend and i took a trip to the CCO and i picked up MAC's "go" eyeshadow. I love this too! I wore it the following day to easter dinner and it looked so pretty with the pale pink cardigan i wore (also from the CCO, juicy couture!). Its got just enough shimmer and its such a pretty color, great for dressing up or just an everyday eye. I'm really loving neutrals lately and this looks great with my "naked lunch" eyeshadow.
the cco had so many other eyeshadows i wanted to buy, but unfortunately they didn't have those out to swatch, and i didn't want to purchase anything without being able to see the color on my skin first, so i just walked away with one, the other colors can wait, although "aquadisiac" is calling my name.

i hope everyone had a great easter! we took lots of pictures, i'll upload them as soon as i can!

skin ceutials: clarifying clay masque*

Today we went to Bluemercury and picked up a masque, we have skin issues that we're trying to get rid of.

What they say: "Clarifying Clay Masque is a non-drying masque that combines kaolin and bentonite, the highest quality natural earth clays, to decongest pores and lift impurities. Botanicals and minerals are added to help heal and calm the skin, while a 5% hydroxy acid blend gently exfoliates. Weekly use of Clarifying Clay Masque leaves skin feeling healthy and purified."
What we say: Although it is a bit on the expensive side ($42), after just one use our skin was noticeably smoother and felt silky, it calmed any redness and it feels super light and healthy. We have oily skin and congested pores and this seemed to help us out already! We'll update you after we use it once a week for a few weeks and let you know our progress! We definitely recommend this for all skin types to clean our pores and get rid of impurities!
